Licensing
Model
You own your licenses
It is a single payment, no recurrent fees.
Licenses are for concurrent users
Ken
Messenger Server
does not limit the ammount of users your server can register. The licenses indicate how many of these users can connect to the server at the same time.
Example:
If your company has 100 users of the system, but owns only 50 computers, only 50 of the 100 users will be able to connect at the same time. The required license size is 50 and not 100.
The licenses are cummulative
The total number of licenses you have bought result in a single Activation Key.
If you own one "20-users license" and one "100-users license", the resultant activation key will allow 120 users.
If you already own
Ken
Messenger
Server licenses, and buy new ones, they will add to the ones you have.
(*1)
The free 5-users are unlicensed and therefore do not add up. The first license replaces your 5-user trial key.
License prices are per block
A license block price (10 users, 20 users, etc.) is not influenced by the number of licenses you are buying at once or have bought in the past: You will obtain better prices by purchasing blocks of licenses that are close to your needs.
Examples
If you have 11~20 concurrent users (or you will very soon have), buy a single 20-users license (US$360) instead of two 10-user licenses (US$390).
If you have 180 concurrent users (or you will very soon have), buy a single 250-users license (US$1,905) or two 100-users license (US$1,860) instead of : 100-user license + 50 user license + 30 user license (US$ 1,945)
